Volunteers needed for Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society’s Summer in Bloom Market

The Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society is looking for community members who want to lend a hand at its upcoming Summer in Bloom Market.

The organization put out a call for volunteers on social media on July 24, seeking people to help with several activities during the event, including 50/50 ticket sales, face painting and its camera booth.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and can sign up through the organization’s website.

The Summer in Bloom Market will take place Saturday, Aug. 15, with multiple shifts available throughout the day. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and again from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society works to support women, children and families in the community through a variety of programs and services. Funds raised through events like the market help support the organization’s ongoing work.

Those interested in volunteering can find more information through the Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society Facebook page.
