The firefighters’ charitable society says supporting young people and helping them succeed is one of its core goals.

The organization said every student should have the opportunity to begin the school year feeling prepared, confident and ready to learn.

The society is also recognizing the work of the South Peace Community Resource Society, which provides support to families throughout the South Peace.

The donation is part of the firefighters’ ongoing efforts to support youth and strengthen the local community.
