The latest ceremony recognized their legacies with commemorative plaques at city hall, helping preserve their stories and contributions for future generations.

Mayor Lilia Hansen and Chief Administrative Officer Milo MacDonald were among those who spoke during the ceremony, along with family members who shared personal memories and reflections.

The event highlighted the service, dedication and community spirit of both Galbreath and Carriere and the role they played in helping shape Fort St. John.

The city said the commemorative plaques will serve as a lasting reminder of their contributions and the mark they left on the community.
