Fort St John RCMP ask residents to keep an eye out for wanted 38-year-old man

The Fort St John RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating Shawn Alexander Wilson, a 38-year-old wanted man. 

He is described as a Caucasian man who is 5 foot 8 and 141 lbs., the force said he has hazel eyes, stubble on his face, and a blonde receding hairline. 

Wilson is wanted on outstanding warrants for breaking and entering with intent, robbery, and breach of release order, according to the Mounties. 

A release order is a court order supporting the temporary release of an accused person, the crime police are accusing Wilson of involves breaching this order – this means he failed to follow one of the instructions ordered by the judge for his conditional release.  

As Mounties’ investigations into Wilson’s accusations continue, they are asking for the any members of the public with information about Wilson, or his whereabouts, to contact their Fort St John detachment. Anyone wanting to remain anonymous is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers.
