Travis William Kowalchuk is wanted by police on an outstanding warrant for mischief under $5,000.
Fort St John RCMP said they are “requesting the public’s assistance” in locating the wanted 36-year-old man.
Mounties described him as Caucasian, 5 foot 10 and 150 lbs., with brown hair, light stubble, and blue eyes.
The force’s statistics do not differentiate between this lesser offence and the more severe instances of mischief, but they said they received 259 reports of the willful destruction of property by a non-owner last year. This number was down from 313 in 2023.
Anyone with information about the wanted man’s location is asked to contact the Fort St John RCMP or to submit it anonymously via Crime Stoppers.
