‘Armed and dangerous’ wanted man sought by Fort St John RCMP

The RCMP are seeking a man who they believed to be armed and dangerous and wanted on several charges, including assault, in Fort St John.

Officers said the 46-year-old man is being pursued by police on warrants for three counts of uttering threats, assault, and stealing a vehicle. Police did not provide additional information on any of their allegations against him.

He was described by them as Indigenous, 6 foot 1 and 172 lbs, with brown eyes and salt and peppered hair. His facial hair was also described as flecked with white spots.

As the man may be armed, anyone who spots him is being told by Mounties not to approach. Instead, they should contact the police or anonymously advise Crime Stoppers. Information can also be submitted online via their northern B.C. website.
