Santa issues reminder for children ahead of Christmas Day

With the busiest day of his season on the horizon, Santa Claus said he is excited to see “people light up with joy” on Christmas morning.

This excitement is in spite of a long night in the sleigh tonight. During his busiest night of the year, he will be led by his trusted reindeer, including Rudloph, the youngest member of the crew with a bright red nose.

Santa is expected to visit all of the good children who keep up their end of the deal.

“You better make sure you’re not on my naughty list because if you are on my naughty list, you know what you’re getting, right? You’re getting coal,” he said.

Father Christmas also reminded these good kids that he is not on a diet this year.

“Remember, Santa likes cookies! Do you know what Santa’s favourite cookies are? I bet you don’t,” he paused.

“Santa’s favourite cookies are the round ones,” he continued, ho-ho-hoing.

When asked for clarification, Santa told My Peace Region Now any and all cookies are appreciated, especially with a glass of milk.
