Northern Health launces survey to improve inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility in healthcare

Northern Health is launching an online survey focused on inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility.

“NH recognizes that persistent systemic barriers, biases, and inequities continue to impact Indigenous peoples, racialized individuals, persons with disabilities and complex health conditions, immigrants, 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, and other underrepresented groups who face stigma, discrimination, and or marginalization,” Northern Health said in release.

“Addressing these challenges is essential to building trust and improving health outcomes across Northern BC.”

The survey is designed to gather meaningful feedback from individuals and communities across the North.

The input will help shape strategies, policies, and programs that foster a more inclusive and equitable environment for both patients and staff.

The survey will be open until July 22, and is available here.
