Original Story
Fort St. John RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman and her one-month-old son who have been reported missing.
Police said 31-year-old Nicole Andrus and her infant son, Krew Gordon, were reported missing on Thursday, July 16. According to RCMP, the pair have not been seen in person since July 9.
Police and the family are concerned for their well-being, with RCMP saying it is unusual for Andrus to be out of contact with her family.
Andrus is described as a Caucasian woman who is five-foot-seven and weighs about 135 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Gordon is described as a one-month-old male infant.
RCMP believe Andrus and Gordon may be travelling in a green 2003 Ford Expedition with British Columbia licence plate RK360C.
Cpl. Brett Urano, an RCMP spokesperson, said the lack of contact is concerning.
“Nicole has not been seen in person since July 9, and it is out of character for her to be out of contact with her family,” Urano said.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen Andrus, Gordon or the vehicle they may be travelling in to contact Fort St. John RCMP.
“We are asking anyone who has seen Nicole, Krew, or the vehicle they may be travelling in to contact the police immediately,” Urano said.
RCMP are asking members of the public not to approach Andrus, Gordon or the vehicle if they are located. Instead, residents are asked to contact police right away.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8140.
