Friends of the Fort St. John Public Library looking for volunteers to support fundraising efforts

The Friends of the Fort St. John Public Library are looking for community members who want to help support literacy, learning and local library programs by volunteering at upcoming events.

The volunteer role will help raise awareness about the group’s mission while connecting with residents at community events throughout Fort St. John.

Volunteers will help share information about the Friends of the Fort St. John Public Library, answer questions from the public, and distribute materials that highlight the organization’s work and impact.

The role also includes supporting fundraising efforts, along with helping set up and clean up at events.

Organizers say they are looking for people with strong communication skills, who enjoy working with others and can connect with a diverse range of community members. Volunteers should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with good organizational skills and a willingness to learn.

Those interested in getting involved will be contacted by email with scheduling details for upcoming fundraising events.
