Fort St. John RCMP are asking the public for help locating a 29-year-old man reported missing by his family.
Police said Kevin Danais was reported missing Aug. 21 after his family became concerned for his well-being.
Danais is described as:
- An Indigenous man
- Five feet 11 inches (180 centimetres) tall
- About 200 pounds (91 kilograms)
- Brown eyes
- Dark brown hair in a crew cut
Police said Danais has several tattoos that may help identify him, including a picture of cemetery gravestones on the inside of his left arm, the word “DANAIS” in capital letters on the outside of his left forearm and a large cross on his right forearm.
His family has not spoken with him in more than a week.
RCMP said the family recently received information suggesting Danais may be in Grande Prairie, Alta., although they consider that unusual for him.
Police are asking anyone who may have information about Danais or his whereabouts to contact the Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8100.
