Prespatou water station to close for four days of maintenance

Residents who rely on the Prespatou Water Station will need to make other arrangements later this month while the facility undergoes scheduled maintenance.

The Peace River Regional District said the station will be closed from Sept. 22 to 25 while crews carry out maintenance and replace a membrane.

Residents are being advised to fill up before the closure or use another water station while the work is underway.

The Buick Water Station, at 14853 Buick Creek Road, will be available as an alternative.

Residents with questions can contact the regional district’s Environmental Services Department at 250-784-3200 or environmental.services@prrd.bc.ca.

The regional district has not indicated whether the maintenance schedule is expected to affect the station beyond Sept. 25.
