Culvert replacement to close section of 242 Road

A section of 242 Road will be closed to traffic Wednesday as crews carry out culvert replacement work.

The closure will affect both directions of travel on 242 Road, beginning at a location about 143 metres northwest of the intersection with Old Fort Road.

Road maintenance is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Drivers who use the area are asked to plan ahead and expect delays or find an alternate route while the work is underway.

The closure is expected to remain in place for the duration of the scheduled work.
