Taylor Bridge maintenance to cause overnight traffic delays

Drivers using the Taylor Bridge should expect delays Thursday night as maintenance work takes place.

Dawson Road Maintenance will be working on the bridge from 7 p.m. Thursday until 3:30 a.m. Friday.

During the work, traffic will be reduced to a single alternating lane, with vehicles guided by a pilot car.

Oversized and overweight loads wider than 3.85 metres will not be able to cross the bridge during the maintenance period and will have to wait until after 3:30 a.m.

Dawson Road Maintenance is advising operators of oversized loads to plan their trips outside the 7 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. work window to avoid lengthy delays.

The company apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the overnight work.
